About Us
At Umang we work with less privileged children education, sanitation & hygiene programs for women, Skill development & employability skills, Mental health awareness.
Umang is about bringing Happy changes around us. It is about doing things we can, to improve the lives of the many deserving needy. We inherently believe that no one shuns education voluntarily. It is the circumstances and situations that compel a child to stop being a student and one of the reasons for children giving up on education is that they do not have raw material to continue going to school. We want to provide education to all: no child should be left behind and change the world for good!
“We were set up in January 2009 and have grown stronger since then. The great end of education is to discipline rather than to furnish the mind; to train it to the use of its own powers rather than to fill it with the accumulation of others. Education would be much more effective if its purpose was to ensure that by the time they leave, everyone should know how much they do not know, and be imbued with a lifelong desire to know it. The whole purpose of Umang is to ensure that education is given with a purpose of either employability or entrepreneurship. We believe that education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better.
MISSION TO EDUCATE CHILDREN ALL CHILDREN DESERVE THE RIGHT TO FREE EDUCATION AND SKILLS TO BUILD A GOOD FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES.
